Celebrate Independent Bookstore Day at Kepler's with three Bay Area authors whose books are garnering attention across the nation and beyond!

John Markoff kicks off the festivities at 10:30, when he will sign copies of the New Yorker- and Wall Street Journal-reviewed Whole Earth: The Many Lives of Stewart Brand outside on the plaza. At 11:30 Kai Harris will sign copies of her novel, What the Fireflies Knew, which has garnered praise from the New York Times and the Washington Post. Then at 2:00 Grace D. Li stops by to sign copies of the New York Times instant bestselling novel Portrait of a Thief.
