11:00am - 12:00pm: Arree Chung: Presentation + Drawing Workshop
Arree Chung is an award-winning author, illustrator, and international speaker known for his popular picture books Ninja! and Mixed. He inspires kids to share their creative ideas through art and storytelling. Arree’s latest graphic novel, Don’t Cause Trouble, draws on his own experiences growing up Asian American. He will join us to read from Don’t Cause Trouble and share the real life stories that inspired the story. For all those budding artists out there he will also give a drawing lesson.
3:00pm - 4:00pm: Literary Spelling Bee: Prizes include gift cards and tickets to upcoming events.
