Let’s Pretend This Never Happened feels like a Mary Karr-David Sedaris-Amy Poehler mash-up, a look at how to cope when things are just plain absurd. It would be a crime during this Covid fall NOT to turn to Lawson for commiseration, solace and some much-needed laughs.
