Meet science educator Jack Challoner as he discusses Maker Lab Outdoors, which focuses on projects that can be done outside, or that emphasize the earth and environment.
Jack will lead a series of experiments for attendees and answer science questions.
Produced in conjunction with the Smithsonian, Maker Lab: Outdoors features 25 projects that will spark kids’ creativity, help develop science skills through hands-on learning., and brings big and complex science concepts right into your backyard. Each project features a time estimate, difficulty level, and safety recommendations, as well as sections that explain how the science works and offer real-world examples.
Jack Challoner has written more than 40 books on science and technology including DK’s award-winning Make Lab, and acts as a science consultant on books, magazines, and television programs.
