En Busca de Klingsor by Jorge Volpi
Who is Klingsor? Behind this code name lies a sinister character, or perhaps just a legend.
The information available indicates that Klingsor refers to a scientist familiar with quantum mechanics, the theory of relativity, subatomic particles, and nuclear fission, but above all, one who is an adviser to Hitler and responsible for the military science strategies of the Reich, among which is the development of the atomic bomb. The search for him is entrusted to Francis Bacon, theoretical physicist whom the war influences to stop searching for scientific results and start searching for people. He is assisted in his investigation by Gustav Links, a mathematician who participated in a failed attempt at the Fuhrer's life.
