Join us for an evening with Rabih Alameddine whose book, An Unnecessary Woman, was a National Book Award finalist. What makes this a truly special event is Rabih's dry, funny, and sarcastic sense of humor as well as his openness in revealing the moments of struggle in his writing process. During these moments, he takes to Twitter and posts pictures of works of art. As he talks about in a New Yorker article, "'The more beautiful the image, the more frustrated I am in my writing,'... 'If I post a whole series of Matisse, then I’ve reached a dead end. If I do Monet, I’m going nowhere.'"
